MULTICAST NETWORKS OPENING:  PHP Developer / MySQL

 

 

We have an immediate opening for a PHP Developer.  We’re looking for a well-rounded individual with strong technical and communications skills, who is comfortable with working solo and with others.  The individual environment is to work with PHP on Drupal with an eventual migration to a J2EE environment.

 

 

Requirements include:

 

 

1)      Strong object oriented PHP experience, must have operational examples of prior PHP 5.00 work

2)      Strong understanding of MySQL 4.1-5.x

3)      8 to 10 years of experience in software development using object oriented and procedural programming

4)      Strong background in developing for GNU/Linux or Unix-like platforms for mission-critical production deployments

5)      Strong analytical and logical thinking capability

6)      Experience with MySQL replication, MySQL Cluster

7)      Experience with MySQL performance tuning and optimization

8)      Secure coding practices

9)      High-availability and scalable network service development

10)  Expertise with interfaces, MVC, HTML, CSS2, JavaScript, AJAX, templating, caching, sessions and authentication

11)  Drupal

12)  Experience with distributed architecture, design, and implementation.

13)  Expereince with running Apache or other Unix-based web servers in a production environment.

14)  Industry networking experience, including knowledge of fundamental protocols, such as TCP, UDP, IPv4/6, and SSL/TLS

15)  B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or other related field

16)  Strong communication skills
